I am a member of LogoLounge and find it infinitely useful. I have submitted close to 30 logos for this call for entries. I have the book and it is great! Maybe some of my stuff will make it into LogoLounge 2...

CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR LOGOLOUNGE BOOK II

Dear LogoLounge Member,
When the new book, "LogoLounge: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers," compiled by the creators of LogoLounge.com and published by Rockport Publishers, was released earlier this year, there was just one thing wrong with it: The book sold out in a matter of months. The second printing is quickly being exhausted and the book has yet to drop from the top 1% of sales on Amazon.com.

So Rockport and LogoLounge.com are teaming up again to publish a brand-new book, "LogoLounge II." That means it is once again your chance, as a LogoLounge member, to get your logo design work into what has turned out to be a very hot commodity.

Here's what you need to know and do:
— Make sure your membership in LogoLounge.com is current. Only members may upload their logo design work to the web site.
— All work submitted to LogoLounge.com before February 1, 2004 will be considered for inclusion in the new book.
- We are announcing this CALL FOR ENTRIES to our membership before it is announced to the general public. When the jurors review the logos they are judged in the order they are received. You may find it advantageous to upload soon to avoid having your work at the bottom of the virtual stack.

Your membership not only opens up the possibility that your work may be featured in "LogoLounge II," it also means that your designs will be part of the fastest-growing databases and historical record of logo design in our time. You also have access to all of the web site's research capabilities, its editorial content, and its special promotions.

Of course, being featured in the book is a powerful promotion for your work: Clients have heavily shopped the book to discover designers and firms with whom they would like to work.

Work on the new book is beginning as you read this message. So please don't wait: Unlike a web site, the book can only contain a finite number of logos.
